Palio - Energy 03

The Chinese manufacturer Palio has created a suitable solution for the new plastic ball: the Energy series. The plastic ball’s playing properties differ slightly from those of conventional celluloid balls. Therefore, it was only logical for Palio to create blades that provide slightly more power.

The Energy 03 has a relatively unusual veneer structure. The blade has a total of nine veneers: Five wood veneers were combined with four soft carbon plies. The core veneer is followed by two carbon plies which are followed by two wood veneers and another two carbon blades. The blade provides a medium-hard/hard touch as well as high speed.

Players relying on a direct offensive game with hard spin strokes, counter-attacks and smash shots will particularly enjoy this blade. The Energy 03’s workmanship is superb, and it rests very well in the hand.
