Emendo comes from Latin and means " improvement ." Consequently, this blade is PiMPLEPARK 's first pure all-round blade . The goal of the development was to create a high-quality blade that impresses with both its playing characteristics and its price. In numerous tests, PiMPLEPARK players opted for a five-layer veneer construction with a Kiri core veneer.

At first glance, the weight of just under 100g may seem surprising. However, thanks to the good weight distribution, this weight isn't particularly noticeable in play. Since the Emendo is an all-round blade that excels in blocking and counterattacking , one of the goals during the development process was to create a slightly heavier blade to improve feedback.

The elegant design and high-quality craftsmanship are impressive, just like the other blades available from PiMPLEPARK. The slightly rounded edges, in particular, ensure a pleasant playing feel.

The Emendo was specially developed for all-round players and junior players:

  1. All-round players:

Classic all-rounders who play with blocks, counterattacks, shots, and spin will enjoy this blade. The blade is perfectly matched to the plastic ball and offers a balanced balance of speed and control. Thanks to its slightly higher weight, the Emendo is also excellent for blocking and shooting, as it provides excellent feedback through the hand.

  2. Young players: The Emendo

xxs version is the perfect choice for children and young people in table tennis clubs ! The blade is slightly smaller and the handle a bit narrower. This also reduces the overall weight to just under 90g. When combined with entry-level rubbers like the PiMPLEPARK Bloxx, this blade offers an introduction to all table tennis techniques.

The details at a glance:

  • Weight: approx. 95g (approx. 89g for the xxs version)
  • Length of the racket blade: 15.5cm (15.0cm for the xxs variant)
  • Width of the racket blade: 15.2cm (14.5cm for the xxs version)
